World Trade Volume
Based on preliminary data the volume of world trade increased by 3.9% in the final quarter of the year and an estimated 2.7% for the year as a whole.
Looking to the future, our forecast estimates suggest that while world trade will continue to grow in the next two years by 4.1% in 2014 and 4.8% in 2015, this will be in part driven by emerging economies.
